The nerves of marriage during the organization, meals with a lot of salt, alcohol or cigarettes, with the consequent fluid retention, can cause us to wake up with swollen eyes at the least expected moment. What is usually recommended in these cases is to apply cold to the area and natural remedies such as cucumber or chamomile. Once the excess has been neutralized, themake-up can help us to to conceal puffy eyes. Here are some tips:

  • Foundation and concealer. Use a concealer a few two shades lighter Use a foundation of the same tone as your skin for the area below and for the eyelid, always with a matte effect. The ideal is to have used a 'prime' make-up before.
  • Translucent powder. To fix the make-up we will use the translucent powders that will help us to give a smoother texture to the eye contour and then we can outline and apply the eye shadow.

  • Shadows. The ideal is to use colors that give depth To give another touch of luminosity, you can apply highlighter just below the eyebrow.
  • The eyeliner. For the upper line apply it with a thin line from the middle of the eye outwards, leaving the tear trough free and taking the line a little bit outwards, to make the eye look bigger. Use softer colors as well, like brown, grey or matte black. For the lower line the best will be light colors like light beige or even white to illuminate.

  • Mascara. Apply a light coat on the upper lash line with emphasis on the end of the lashes to make the look more open.
  • Highlight the eyebrows. To complete the look apply a bit of shade The shadow should be one or two shades darker than the colour of your eyebrows.

  • Lips. In addition to neutralizing puffiness, you can also opt for a more lip-focused makeup look, to balance the whole face.
