Valentine's Day is one of the most romantic days of the year, and although the demonstrations of love are daily and it is not necessary that there is a date to share phrases of love to the couple or give flowers or an intimate outing, the truth is that "Valentine's Day" is the perfect occasion to take a break from the routine of everyday life and give quality time together. It is not necessary to makegreat gifts or demonstrations, or haven't you heard that details make a difference?

If you want to make a special gift, but do not know exactly what to do, we give you a simple idea, but very personal that you can do yourself on this date: A glass jar with love phrases to dedicate and surprise your partner.

Materials

To fulfill its mission need the following materials:

  • 1. A glass jar. You can buy a new one or use the typical jam jar that ends up accumulated in some corner of the kitchen. In this case, let it soak to remove the labels, then soak a towel or sponge in hot water to remove the stuck paper.
  • 2. White acrylic paint, enough to paint half a jar.
  • 3. Adhesive tape.
  • 4. Medium to wide brush.
  • 5. Jute or pita rope.
  • Recycled paper cut into squares of approximately 5x5 cm.
  • 7. Paste pencil, scripto or marker, depending on personal taste.
  • 8. Ribbon to make a bow

Step by step

With all the materials on the table, now it's time to get down to work and create your bottle with love notes.

  • 1. Mark the glass jar with tape down the middle to create a border.

  • 2. Paint the jar with the brush and the white paint and let it dry.

  • Put the string around the jar as a decoration with 2 or 3 turns and then add the ribbon to make a bow.

  • 4. We took the pieces of paper and wrote different messages on them.

  • 5. We roll up the messages and close them like a parchment with the string.

  • 6. Put the messages in the glass jar and that's it!

Love messages

Use your creativity and personal style to write love notes that identify you as a couple. And in case you're feeling a little blocked, here are some ideas... you add the rest!

  • 1. I love you.
  • You're the Monica to my Chandler.
  • 3. You make my world filled with unforgettable days.
  • I don't know what I saw in you, I just know I don't see it in anyone else.
  • 4. It's worth it for an eternal embrace.
  • 5. I would say "yes" to you a million times.
  • 6. You're not Google, but you're everything I look for.
  • 7. Let's keep laughing together.

If you haven't exchanged wedding rings at the altar yet, then to make the day even more special, add a slip of paper with the following message: "Will you marry me? And with the engagement ring in one hand and the jar full of love notes in the other, you're sure to have an unforgettable Valentine's Day.
