Matrimonios.cl offers practical tools that will facilitate the organization of the wedding, such as the Agenda of Tasks, the Guest Manager, the Budget and the Table Organizer, which allows you to design the room to your liking, placing the guests in their respective places.

And if you thought this item would be one of the most complicated, the truth is that the Table Organizer will simplify the task in just four steps. In fact, far from being a headache, you will have fun assigning seats to your family and friends as if it were an online game.

Add guests

To add guests, the tool will ask them to fill in the following fields to sort the information:

  • 1. Guest's first and last name
  • 2. To add or not to add companions of the guest
  • 3. Age of guest (adult, child, infant)
  • 4. Sex of guest (male, female)
  • 5. Group to which you belong (mutual friends, my partner's friends, my friends, my partner's family, my family, my partner's work, my work, boyfriends, girlfriends)
  • 6. Menus (adults, without menu, children)
  • 7. Contact information (email, landline, cell phone, address)

Once this step is complete, you will be able to import the guest list into an Excel template ready for download.

Add tables

Then, at the moment of ordering the tables, the tool will ask them for name each table You will be able to choose between rectangular, square or round tables, considering also the presidential table for the bride and groom (with seats on one side only), if you wish.

As they confirm the tables, they will be reflected in a plan that simulates the room (with the name of each table and number of chairs), which can be moved and ordered as they see fit.

The idea is to distribute them according to the presidential table, which you will see in the plan as a starting point. Of course, you can edit this table at your convenience, either by changing the number of chairs, placing it vertically or horizontally, or eliminating it. Remember that the tables of the guests, as far as possible, should have the same number of seats. Or at least, that thenumber matches according to whether they are of the same type (square, round).

Accommodate guests

Once the guests have been defined and the tables have been selected, the next step is to start placing the people at their respective places. To do this, from the menu, click on the name of each guest and drag them to their table. Each guest will have a distinctive icon according to gender and age, to clarify the order of the scheme.

And as you seat your guests, the names will be crossed off the menu list, which will also make the process easier. You can make as many changes as you wish, until you are 100 percent satisfied with the seating arrangements. For example, if you see that a table is too empty, move the occupants to other tables and remove that table from the plan.

Download the PDF

Finally, when you have the design of the room ready, with all the people seated at their corresponding tables, then you only have to download and print it. When you get to this point, you will have to enter the place of celebration, adding your name and then click on "download PDF".

You will be able to download both the table layout plan and the guest list per table to send to print, and it will be ready to be delivered to the event center!

In case of last minute confirmations or cancellations, having this plan at hand will help you to react in a timely manner. But the Table Organizer, in general, is a useful tool, both for intimate or massive weddings, which can be accessed through the Matrimonios.cl website or through the mobile app.
