Bridal Night was undoubtedly one of the strongest nights of BBFW thanks to Mariage, the first bridal show by renowned Dutch designers Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren, "An invitation to a sequence of designs that weave together the duo's unique vision of Haute Couture and bridal fashion," according to a pre-show press release, but which explains in a wayperfect collection.

A perfect composition between Haute Couture and this spectacular bridal universe with unconventional designs - one of the hallmarks of the firm - and with a strong architectural look.

37 wedding dresses, each with an individual and autonomous character make up Mariage, which follow the conceptual line so characteristic of Viktor & amp; Rolf. A collection of luxury and avant-garde Detailed with handmade silk organza floral embellishments that twist into fitted bodices in airy movements.

"We have always been fascinated by the wedding dress because it is a small universe in itself, an icon of one of the most wonderful moments in life". With these words the designers refer to designs that are the common thread of the collections of this renowned luxury brand.

Designs with a markedly architectural line, such as the ultra-high-shouldered wedding dresses that allude to his latest collection presented in Paris and inspired by Dracula, were the hallmark of this first Mariage catwalk.

But also, short and long wedding dresses with three-dimensional applications that gave lights of a real craftsmanship behind; wide sleeves and designs with embroidered details, ruffles and organza bows; all in a very neat white, except for a princess style wedding dress with gold embroidery on a white background on the body.

A very romantic setting for a collection inspired by elements of classic haute couture and which also reinforces Viktor & amp; Rolf's focus on conscious design by working with conscious materials such as fabrics with tenceltm luxe filaments.
