Make it yourself paper swirls can be a charming detail to decorate your party, or give them as fun gifts during the celebration, especially in spring, when they are more traditional.

  • To make them we will need:
  • One square sheet of paper with different designs on each side
  • A small nail
  • A pearlite with a hole in the tip
  • A wooden stick
  • Scissors
  • Scotch adhesive tape or special glue gun
  • A hammer (ideally small)

The preparation is done in 5 simple steps steps :

1º Fold the paper twice, making a triangle, marking the two diagonals of the square (see photos 1 and 2).

2º Cut in the direction of the diagonals until you are 2 cm from the center (see photo 3).

3º From each one of the triangles, take one point yes and one no to the center of the square to make them interleaved (see photo 4).

4º Fasten the ends with the nail (see photo 5) and, on the back, place the pearl (see photo 6).

5º Finally, put the wooden stick On top of the pearl to be able to hold the windmill (see photo 7). To prevent a piece of nail on a piece of nail you can put a small cork.
