In times of crisis is when we value what really matters. Those simple, everyday things that the day to day had made us take for granted, today have become the pillar to overcome these moments of uncertainty. A smile in the morning or an I love you in the afternoon is enough to remember that you are in this together and that is all you need to move forward.

Due to the current situation and in the framework of the World Day of Love On May 1, the Global Love Study survey was released to more than 15 thousand couples married in 2019 and based in 15 countries: Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Spain, United States, France, India, Italy, Mexico, United Kingdom, Peru, Portugal and Uruguay, to understand how they feel loved. This is how it was demonstrated that what is important is in thetime shared with the person they love, but also, in those small gestures.

Did you know that spending quality time together is one of the most valued demonstrations of love by Chilean couples That's right, because 60% said so, versus 58% in Spain and 48% in the U.S. And it's those moments that remain in the memory, nurturing relationships to make them even stronger. In fact, in 14 out of 15 countries surveyed, Spending quality time together was the most important factor. And for that, they just need to be there, to be aware of the present moment and to support each other so that even in the most difficult moments, they know they can count on your love and support.

Thus, while kisses, hugs and details are important, quality time spent together is even more valuable than physical contact. Of the 15 countries in this study, Chile (60%) is the third in giving value to this point, after Colombia (63%) and Uruguay (62%). and more than countries in Europe and North America.

The activities you used to do today may be limited and staying at home has become a necessity. But it doesn't have to affect your relationship; ultimately what matters is that you can count on each other. Were you used to having an active life outside the home? Maybe it's time to reinvent ourselves and look inward. You will be amazed at how the little things of the day can bring much needed calm.

Spending quality time together is easier than you thought. So, just as you used to enjoy going to the movies together, today you can bring the movie theater to your home and prepare a meal to watch your favorite movie; dance again to your waltz song as a couple; play sports together or simply stay in bed for a few more minutes, enjoying the moment.

Sharing with that person that you decided to start a life project together, it can be one of the greatest demonstrations of love there is. Make it worthwhile because it is in the small gestures, in the simplicity of life, in the now, that the whole journey takes on meaning. And so, without realizing it, a date like World Love Day becomes every day of your life. And you, how do you show your love?
